Getting started

Set up today, use it this week

Moving to Noventa isn't a project. The steps below take an afternoon for most managements; you can close your first dues period this month.

A key in a door lock.

Steps

What you do, in order

  1. Open your account

Email and password. No credit card, no setup fee.

  2. Define your first building

Site name, block structure and unit list. Import your Excel if you have one.

  3. Write your dues rule

Amount, due day and distribution method. Accruals post themselves each period.

  4. Invite residents

Invitation emails go out; residents open their accounts and see their balance.

Archive boxes and files on shelves.

Migration

Leaving Excel doesn't mean losing data

No unmatched row is skipped silently during import. You see which row failed and why, fix it, and try again.

Preview first

You see what will happen before anything is written.

Then confirm

Confirmed rows are imported; the rest stay on the list.

Opening balances

Past debts enter as carry-over; the past is never recalculated.

Asked before starting

How long does importing my data take?

Minutes for the unit and people list. Opening balances are entered by hand, so that's where the time goes — half a day for a 100-unit site.

Do I have to shut down my old system immediately?

No. You can run both in parallel for 30 days; once you close the first period in Noventa, you won't need the other one.

Will residents learn to use it?

The resident side is three screens: my balance, my faults, announcements. No training needed; the link in the invitation email takes them straight there.
